Event description:
Do you know how to defend your home through the use of a firearm? Are you familiar with the laws pertaining to the use of force, and your rights under the 2nd Amendment? If you would like clarification on any of these questions, then come participate in "Personal Defense in the Home", an NRA course that teaches tactics to protect yourself and your family, along with legal issues that will arise anytime you use force to protect yourself in a dangerous situation. This class is taught by Kevin Stoltz and Kermit Alwine. Stoltz is a former instructor at the indoor range in Altoona. Alwine is a law enforcement firearms instructor and local deputy. A firearm is not required. However, if you currently have a firearm for home defense, please bring it with you to train. Both men and women are encouraged to attend this class!
